Shaqir Rashaun O’Neal (born April 19, 2003) is an American institution basketball player for the Texas Southern Tigers of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). A California native, Shaqir has always wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps into the world of basketball.

Shaqir Rashaun O’Neal was born on April 19, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, to Shaquille O’Neal and his former spouse Shaunie Nelson. He also has two siblings besides Shareef, younger sister Me’arah and older sister Amirah. He also has a younger step-sister named Taahirah from his father’s relationship with former girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh and an older step-brother, Myles from his mother’s previous relationship.
